Participants
Individual Development Accounts or IDA’s are an innovative matched savings program to help low-income Oregonians gain greater financial security. Participants in the IDA Program set an asset goal, attend financial education and asset specific classes, and consistently set money aside to achieve their savings goals. Once the savings goal is met, the savings are matched by state funds!
You can use IDA's for:
- Purchasing your first home,
- Go back to school or get skill training,
- Starting a small business,
- Repair or modifications of your primary dwelling, or
- Purchase equipment or technology in support of your employment plan.
